接着，我从二楼来到了暗层，走出电梯一看，天哪！我惊呆了，新塔暗层一周都是黄杨木浮雕，讲述了白蛇传的故事。这些浮雕刻得栩栩如生，如真的一样，一个眼神，一个表情都让我赞叹不已。我想，这些一定一位技术高超的艺术家刻制而成，这可是大师毕生的心血啊！
然后，我坐电梯来到顶层，一出来，感觉眼前一亮，啊！我看见了顶上方金碧辉煌；亮闪闪的，一周又刻着无数阿育王，我出塔门看了看外面的景象，可真是壮观啊！虽然我的脚软了，但是看到这壮观的雷锋塔还是值得的！这让我想起了王之涣的诗“欲穷千里目，更上一层楼。”
今年春节，我和堂姐一家去了风景优美的杭州，下午，我们兴致勃勃地驱车前往位于杭州西湖南边的雷峰塔。老远，就看见那雄伟、庄严的雷峰塔。在碧水青山的依托下，显得更加秀丽多姿!雷峰塔高70多米，塔身分五层。是平面八角仿宋的楼阁式塔，塔基以下两层，呈平面八角，外饰汉白玉石栏。
我们沿着南山路乘电梯，路两旁栽满了法国梧桐，就像天然的绿色隧道，到了第一层，看到的是雷峰塔地宫，展现在眼前的便是倒塌以后，保存至今的雷峰塔遗址。望着黄土堆和砖块，带领我穿越时空，到了古代。很多游客向遗址投币，乞求能实现自己的愿望。
台基二层以上是五层的塔身，可以坐直达电梯到顶层，真是现代又人性化的设计。我们来到第五层的景观台，那里有几台望远镜，我迫不及待的将硬币投入，通过望远镜向四周眺望，西湖风光尽收眼底，东面有柳浪闻莺，西面有苏堤，北面有白堤，三潭印月恰似在我们的"眼皮底下，西湖真不愧为是人间天堂。
